What services are included in the accommodation price at Vulkán Wellness Hotel & Camping?
For our hotel guests, the reservation includes comfortable accommodation, the selected meal plan (room only, bed and breakfast, or half board), as well as access to the Vulkán Thermal and Adventure Bath during opening hours. Guests can also use the hotel's wellness area, parking, fitness room and Wi-Fi free of charge. Most package offers may also include additional discounts or extra services.
Is there direct access to the Vulkán Thermal and Adventure Bath?
Yes. Vulkán Wellness Hotel is directly connected to the Vulkán Thermal and Experience Bath by a covered corridor, allowing our guests to reach the bath comfortably regardless of the weather. Guests staying at the campsite or in the mobile homes can reach the entrance to the bath within a few minutes on foot.
What types of rooms and mobile homes are available?
Our hotel offers 36 comfortable rooms with balconies and 4 rooms without balconies. At our campsite, we have 24 modern, fully equipped mobile homes, 56 spacious pitches for caravans and motorhomes, and 12 tent pitches. In addition, we have 18 permanent caravan/motorhome pitches designed for long-term rental.
The mobile homes are ideal for families and groups of friends and are equipped with their own kitchen, bathroom and terrace.
What wellness and pool facilities are available to guests?
Our guests can enjoy thermal water pools, experience pools, a swimming pool, children's pools, a sauna area, a jacuzzi, as well as various wellness and massage services. During the summer season, outdoor pools, water slides and a Kneipp pool are also available for those looking to relax and have fun.
What activities and attractions can be found in Celldömölk and around Ság Hill?
The volcanic nature trail on Ság Hill, the crater, the Trianon Memorial Cross and the Kemenes Volcano Park are popular destinations throughout the year. The surrounding area offers excellent cycling routes, as well as numerous cultural and gastronomic events. Nature lovers, hikers and families will all find plenty of activities to suit their interests.
Can I book accommodation with a small child, and what family-friendly services are available?
Of course. Vulkán Wellness Hotel & Camping is a family-friendly accommodation and provides baby cots, high chairs, children's beds and family rooms. The bath features children's pools and various water attractions for the little ones, while the surrounding area offers numerous safe outdoor activities for families.
What dining options does the hotel offer, and are there possibilities for special dietary requirements?
Our restaurant offers a generous buffet breakfast and dinner. Depending on the season, guests can also enjoy grilled dishes and themed gastronomic events. If you have a food allergy or special dietary requirement, please let us know in advance when making your reservation, and our staff will do their best to provide a suitable alternative.
Is there bicycle storage or bicycle rental available at the hotel?
Yes. We provide secure bicycle storage for our guests and also offer cycling tour recommendations and suggested routes to help guests enjoy an active holiday. Thanks to the excellent cycling opportunities in the surrounding area, the hotel is a popular choice among cyclists.
What parking options are available for hotel and campsite guests?
Guests of Vulkán Wellness Hotel & Camping can park free of charge in the accommodation's private car park. Guests arriving at the campsite with caravans or motorhomes also have convenient parking and utility connection facilities available.
When is the best time to book, and what discounts or package offers are available throughout the year?
We recommend booking your accommodation as early as possible, especially during the summer season, long weekends and holiday periods, when available rooms and pitches can fill up quickly. Throughout the year, we offer a variety of promotions, seasonal discounts and themed packages. The FreeCharger app must be downloaded in order to use our electric vehicle charging station. Based on our current agreement with the service provider, the current price is HUF 250/kWh.
How far are the mobile homes from the restaurant?
The mobile homes are approximately 300–350 metres from the restaurant.
Are the mobile homes air-conditioned and heated? Is there an extra charge for air conditioning?
There is no additional charge for air conditioning. Our mobile homes provide comfortable accommodation throughout the year and can be both heated and cooled.
Where can we park near the mobile homes?
Parking is available approximately 5–20 metres from the mobile homes.
Can the cost of a massage be charged to the room?
Our reception staff can book a massage for our guests. Payment for the massage is made directly to the massage therapist.
Why do you ask for my ID card if I have already stayed at the hotel before?
Hungarian regulations require us to record guest data in the NTAK system based on an identity card, passport or driving licence.
Can returning guests receive a discount?
Yes. Our reception staff can check your returning guest status. Our reception colleagues will be happy to provide information about the applicable discount.
Can I arrive with a pet, and what are the additional charges?
We are a dog-friendly hotel. Currently, the additional charge for a pet is HUF 4000 per pet per night.
Is early check-in or late check-out available at the hotel?
Early check-in and late check-out are available subject to occupancy. The price is HUF 6000 per room per occasion. Please contact our reception staff to check availability.
Can I use the thermal bath on the day of departure?
After checking out, guests must leave their room by 10:00 a.m. However, they can continue using the bath until closing time for an additional fee of HUF 1500 per person.
For children up to 18 years of age, use of the bath after check-out is free of charge.When is the market held in Celldömölk?
The market is held every Thursday morning on the Main Square (Fő tér) in Celldömölk.
